Description
Description:
3D META’s ABS+ 3D printing filament is produced with high quality, specially modified acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material. Like ABS, our ABS+ filament is strong and has high impact resistance with the added bonus of less warping and non-cracking. Making it much easier to print and suitable with most 3D printers.
Like all ABS filaments we do recommend printing in an enclosure, this allows for a high ambient temperature around the part which reduces the chance of warping and failed prints. ABS also gives off some unpleasant fumes, so we also recommend printing in a well-ventilated room.
Key Features:
- Manufactured with high quality materials.
- Strong with high impact resistance.
- Exceptional bed and layer adhesion.
- Less warping than standard ABS.
- Manufactured under strict QA procedures.
- Consistent and reliable filament.

Applications:
Due to its overall strength and high impact resistance, ABS+ can be used for a range of applications. It’s most commonly used for prototyping or function parts that require high strength, impact resistance or certain chemical resistance.
Storage and Drying:
To prevent moisture absorption, it is recommended to keep your filament in a cool, dark, dry area, preferable sealed in an airtight bag.
Filament can be dried with various methods including a dedicated filament drying machine, food dehydrator, oven, or even your printer if it’s fully enclosed. For ABS and ABS+ filaments we recommend a drying temperature of 80℃ for a minimum of 5 hours.
